 CAST Membership

Where do you turn for credible and timely scientific information on such important agricultural issues as food science and safety, animal and plant agriculture, and the environment?

CAST's sole purpose is to be that resource for you. Our vital mission, made possible through our loyal members, is “to assemble, interpret, and communicate credible science-based information”—all objectively written and peer-reviewed by scientists and other professionals from a variety of disciplines.

Specifically, CAST addresses issues of animal sciences, food sciences and agricultural technology, plant and soil sciences, and plant protection sciences. It’s then made available regionally, nationally, and internationally, so that everyone can access it—from legislators, regulators and policymakers, to the general public, the private sector, and the media.

That’s the invaluable service you would be supporting as a member of CAST. Then here is a list of the excellent benefits you receive through your CAST membership throughout the year.
