Suspending subtherapeutic use of antibiotics would not eliminate the transfer of antibiotic-resistant intestinal bacteria from animals to humans. Hays, University of Kentucky, Lexington, and Charles A. Black, Iowa State University, Ames. CC1989-2, June 1989, 12 pp., $3.00.
