COVID-19’s Effect on the Ag Sector

During this time of crisis, those working in the food and agriculture sector have been labeled as “essential critical infrastructure workers” by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security. In other words, farmers and agricultural workers have a responsibility to continue operating in times of crisis. However, there is a rise in concern over their welfare when most of the nation is told to keep “socially distant.” Read the latest news about the topic—and check out useful resources—below.
